Main risk group are people older than 55 years but recent studies show that the risk group becomes significantly younger. One of many reasons for the growth of heart diseases is a deficit in consumption if Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.

The main sources of Omega-3 fatty acids are fish, nuts and flaxseed oil. The recommended dose of Omega-3 is approximately 1 gram per day. In order to provide a daily dose of Omega-3 fatty acids it is enough to consume 60 grams of herring. Sources of Omega-3 are also eggs, dairy and meat products free livestock grazing, seaweed and even spinach! Physicians say that the optimal use of Omega-3 fatty acids has not only preventive but also therapeutic effect. And of course do not forget that normal intake of PUFA will protect you from obesity, insulin resistance, Alzheimer’s disease, breast cancer and others. Polyunsaturated fatty acids play an important role in the functioning of every organ of your body.
